I've already critiqued this image, so don't really need to again (it is brill by the way). I'm just curious as to how you managed to post two images within half an hour of each other!??! - Julia.

An incredibly detailed shot of this bat, although it doesn't look too happy with your flash.
It looks incredibly small.
Well spotted and thanks for sharing.

This is a really good shot. Quite tight in the frame, but the eye contact and curl of the trunk under the water really make the shot.
Great work, just a shame the water isn't horizontal.

A kestral did a poo on me once.
An incredible capture, the light is amazing.
Your composition is faultless and the detail on the face captivating. She is a true beauty.
Thank you for posting.

An incredible landscape which I had the pleasure of visiting 15 (!!) years ago.
The foreground is stunning with the contrast between rock, sand and seaweed. I (personally) find the bg a tad too dark, but this is just my opinion.
Great work, thanks for sharing.

This is an incredibly informative post, something I have only seen before with spiders.
Thank you for posting.

Hello Thorsten, haven't seen you here for a while. Great capture, is he doing a sh*t?? A lovely composition, great colours and exposure. My only nit would be the lack of catchlight in his eye.
Good work, thanks for sharing.

A good tip; When taking images at the zoo follow your animal image with a pic of their ID, that way you'll always have a record of what you've taken.
Lots of detail, and good vibrant colours. Not sure if the tight crop and frame work for me, just my (humble) opinion :o)
Thakns for posting.
