Brilliant light, color, and cloud orchestration. I've added this to my favorites!

And did you eat breakfast that morning?? Great decisive moment. This is a perfect example of how the drama of the still image can sometimes surpass the moving image, even in this digital age. The frozen moment preserves what might otherwise be lost on us. Bravo!!

A wonderfully artistic impression of an oft-maligned bird. The light and detail are fantastic and I appreciate the isolation against the background. Thanks!!

What a dramatic and unusual view. I feel quite a connection through the eye contact with this bird. Thanks!

Hi Steve,

What an amazing "x-ray vision" shot of this extraordinarily rare species! I'll alert a cetacean friend who at least will be delighted, and at best might find you new and exciting homes for this picture someday.

A lovely portrait in habitat. Not easy seeing under shrooms... you've captured a fairy's-eye view! If this Bolete is mycorrhizal (most are), it's particularly nice to see it in association with host trees (firs??). Hope you found some yummy ones this day as well!

The father looks very proud of those eggs. Almost as proud as the photographer? :) This image very nicely embodies the hope of spring...

Do you like your 18-200? I'm sorely tempted by that lens but it sounds almost too good to be true...

I really like honing in on this detail. It's an intimidating view of talons, and an intimate view of falconly. (Owlry??) Tack sharp and perfect exposure, too.

I'd find the image even more pleasing, however, if the background were quite simple, without the distracting cage lines.

Great! You've pulled off the pan in "flying colors"! The emerald green is brilliant. Nice light, composition, uncluttered background. Bravo!
