Hi Carl,
Looks like you had some harsh light again, and a quick bird.
A cool image, possibly a bit heavy on the contrast,or saturation,or is that a very dark filter.
It looks like a cross between our Pukeko or native swamp hen and a coot.

Amazing! It's just like a sparrow but blue. If it was April 1st I would have thought this was a coloured one.
Great capture Peter.

Hello Gert,
What a great capture of this colourful Argiope.
Excellent detail and colour.

Another beautiful damsel Sergio.
Love the metallic lustre.
This Calopteryx splendens is definitely my favourite.
I love the ultraviolet male too.

There's a few male warthogs who'd probably appreciate this, and its a great pic, but not really that attractive. Mind you, I don't know that the front end is much better, lol.
Great image.

That Raynox DCR 250 is a very good lens (I have the DCR 150)
Great exposure,colour & detail.
Well done,

Hi Carl,
Another great image.
You're posting some good photos with some interesting information.
You'll find you get roughly as many comments as you make here,so if you feel like you're pics are being ignored it might be cos you're not critiquing that much yet. I find it hard to find time myself.
Sometimes I quit for a while then come back, but its had to keep away.
Theres so much interesting stuff here, and there's nothing quite like TN :)

Two great images showing the top and gills clearly.
Great exposure and sharpness in both images.
Excellent work.
Cheers
