Hello Loot,
I was reading Peter's critique which I share but as I always have some doubts concerning my English, I wondered whether it is a photo from you or by you.
Just to avoid to be considered ill-mannered.
I remember that Howard once asked me to post mating Rhino. He was joking of course. Spotting Rhino is already an event let alone a mating situation.
In your case, Loot, if you're doing it lot, chances are you'll spot mating Rhino some day. Apparently this was your day.
By doing it a lot I mean going to Kruger of course.
That all said it is an amazing shot. Here we go again...
Looks almost like science fiction; some kind of Jurassic Park happening.
Next the Black Rhino maybe...
Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hello Anna,
A great and well written story. I didn't even know this Honey badger was a Kruger animal. So I went through the Kruger National Park Map and found it in the
bottom right-hand corner as the last animal depicted in the category small animals.
Wonderful animal and it's funny.
Next time maybe you'll spot the Lesser bushbaby or the Thicknailed, the Striped polecat or the Pangolin:-)

Hello Natley,
It's nice to see White Rhinos with their horns. It's np pleasant sight to spot wounded animals without horns due to poaching etc.
About your beautiful image...
Apparently you were very close here, given the focal length. You got the depth of field as well, generating an overall sharp image.
Well done

Hello Peter,
Well done. Beautiful lions and captured at a decisive moment in terms of visibility eyes and paws.
Wonder whether this is captured at a waterhole and what my chances are to spot lions in Kgalagadi compared to Kruger for instance?

Well done, Peter.
It is a great portrait by you of these two Black Backed Jackals. You captured their typical checking out look very well. Both are in the depth of field range.
Once I saw a Black Backed Jackal running in the Namib desert and believe me these guys are fast as well.

Hello Frans,
Thanks for sharing this Bokmakierie. Can't remember having spotted this one during my Namibia and South Africa safaris.
Beautiful and colourful bird. No distracting elements in the background capture-wise.

Hello Horia,
Nicely done. Great foreground effect through your wide angle lens.
Relatively short shutter speed. Apparently light is coming through these trees.
I also like the greenish root and rock composition.
