This is an Amazing catch! I love how all the lines lead you into the bird. The placement of the bird in the second third of the photo adds greatly as well. The colors helps make it a very serene setting. This is a great photograph. Well done!

Hi Penny,
This does look better that the last version.
Some nice colours and detail have come out in this one.
Birds are not the easiest of subjects to shoot, but I look forward to seeing what you can do with a tripod and a bit more time.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Penny,I know how frustrating it is to find a rare little bird and snap it in a hurry, only to find the shot isn't as clear as you might have hoped.
Most of the best shots I've seen seem to be taken from hides, and with a tripod.
(Not so easy to do while out walking with kids).
Still, at least you got it.
Cheers

I love how you managed to capture the bird with its wings up in clear detail, while still having some of the branching in the foreground out of focus. I think it adds nice depth and framing to your image. Great shot!

Hi Penny
Nice action shot with fine detail and clear image.
In manage there is a option for RP an image, it keeps the old image and lets you explain what changes you have made to the new image.
