Hi Greg - what an unusual and striking pose, a very dramatic shot.
The eyes and especially the beak are in great focus - a super portrait of a lovely bird. Well done and a good note as well!

I'm almost at a loss for words here - this is breathtakingly good and a real pleasure to see.
The colouring, the detail, the way he is looking at us...simply superb!

This is an incredible shot, simply awesome. I love the composition and the close crop - very effective indeed and has a sci-fi feel about it.
Super stuff, well done!

Hi Tina - so nice for me to see birds like this in a natural habitat - most of my animal shots are taken in zoos or birdparks...I do envy you!
A nice pose and composition with the bird amongst the reeds like this...good shot!

Superb compostition and tonal quality throughout - great detail in the beaks, feathers and drops of water.
Simply a lovely, well executed image.

Very impressive macro shot here - from the thumbnail I couldn't work out what I was looking at, almost like an anemone.
Very interesting capture and well executed.

A stunning shot and very typical of much of Northern Ireland's coastline. Lovely true-to-life tones throughout and great detail in the rocks and water - super shot!

You could count the hairs on this fella, Steph...see what he had for lunch...and almost smell his breath!
A great Ostrich shot, well done!

What a cheery image and title! He does indeed look like a nosy wee birdie - great shot!
The focus on this little chap is just wonderful, showing great detail in his feathers and on the twig...that polo-mint circle around his eye is delightful. Excellent stuff!
My Grandmother was from Elgin in Scotland..!
Anyway, pointless trivia aside, I think you've done well to catch a shot of a squirrell like this - whenever I see them they are darting around so quickly I can never catch the little blighters..!
Good composition with the wee fella nestled in the fork like that. Well done.
