You always seem to be able to capture the emotion in your subjects eyes...Nice detail...Like a Black-crowned Night-Heron, it has a white stripe below the bill that, from a distance, gives the impression of a mouth...Great colors...TFS

Nice frame filling portrait on this Green Heron. I never tire of herons! Besides you live in Florida, there everywhere. I have always loved the colors in the plumage on these guys. Trouble is I don't have one decent shot of Green Heron!

(370) [2007-06-22 9:09] Nice subject, but it appears as though some cloning was done around his bill, perhaps to remove an errant leaf. I think I would have preferred the leaf in its natural state even though it was across the bill.

Another well focused shot of a beautiful bird.The eye contact is excellent,by this point it would have flown away on me.Very good POV .The focus and details are sharp.The lighting and colours are great.TFS
