Hi Nick,
Welcome back. Nice close-up of a Goldfinch.
Typical isn't it - your holiday ends, the post-lady puts a paint brush in your hand and then the sun comes out. Never mind, hopefully we have a long and fruitful summer ahead of us,
regards,
John

Hi Catherine,
Nice photo of this long tailed Tit. The thorn bush looks a little dangerous)!
regards,
John.

Hi Chris,
Fantastic shot of a dragonfly in flight. I cannot wait until summer to try and get a photo as crisp as this,

john.

Hi Adrian,
Thanks for your comments earlier.
I like your collage very much. Spring is the one season which seems to excite people more than any when else. I for one think that from now until early May is the most fantastic time of the year.
Looking forward to seeing many more 'spring-type' photos very soon,
regards,
John.

Hi Nick,
Great close up of this Blue Tit.
It's amazing how an ordinary little bird can be made to look so different - just by changing the perspective.
I was comparing your recent picture of a Dunnock with mine (seeing what I am missing) and I thought that it looked as if yours has a more decurved bill than my East Stour variety, or perhaps it is just a trick of the light,
cheers,
John.
