I have been sat in my window seat watching the Sparrows that have taken over my roof. All I see and hear at the moment are Sparrows and as you can imagine it drives our cats wild, and me a little too at 4:30am but I can think of worse things.
Your shot shows a nice pose although a little over exposed maybe on the branch although that may just be my laptop. I may have to go and take a shot now of the little chaps busy in and out of my roof.
A lovely shot, I can see Wingreen from my back garden and you are right the farm in between is full of them. I have told my father, NGlen, he needs to bring his camera over more often to catch such delights. The subject is in good focus with nice BG to compliment.
how strange, I do not look here often anymore but when I do look upon this. I have moved since the last time we met far into the country side. On my long trawl home from work every night I am greeted by these amazing creatures swooping from the verges. You have caught the subject well as I know how surprisingly quick they change direction for a bird of such stoutness.
I hope life is treating you well and am not surprised to see you are still taking such good shots.
Nice shot of the House Sparrow with a pleasant pose abd good detailing. I live in Ludwell which is quite close to here and I notice you have taken a few shots near to here such as in Tollard Royal. Are you moving out this way ? If so then I am sure that you will be more than happy with the ammount of wild life out here to take shots of ! Anyhow good work once again.
Amazing pose, super sharp focus with full colouration and all from a shot from my home town. Well played that man.
Well well then, little sister seems to be quite the secret photographer. Nicely positioned shot with nice colours and focus.
Sure Dad would be proud !
Big brother ; ))))
It takes a lot for me to comment here these days but this stirs me. The clarity in the rocks in the FG are another level apart from the rest. With regards to the title you are right, a location that always manages to throw up a new emotion every time visited.
Top marks my friend and some big kudos me thinks...
Well my bearded friend, this is a shot of shots. The water movement shown here is like a cauldron of demonology thrust into my visual sensor. WOW diggity WOW. If I were not a friend then I might say a few more nice things but people may think I was being an "Egg Sucker".
Enough of the words just YES, you have lines for the eye to follow that is drawn via the water movement back to the central rock. Well layed out which is pleasing to me.
Not sure that I would like to come face to face with this critter! Well time with the scuff of the hoof giving off spray from the snow.
Nice shot with superb cloud line, am not sure if I would maybe have opted to cut out the buildings but that is just a personal preference.
