Hello Jean -

I am surprised at the lack of attention this image is getting. This is an excellent image. I have tried to get some good images of ducks in flight and it is very difficult. I do like the details in this image as well as the composition. The image seems to be slightly on the noisy side, but that does not take away from the image. I am not sure if the image is soft or not but with the way ducks fly it is understandable. Well done!

Hello Tom -

I am amazed at the lack of attention this image is getting. This is a spot on portrait! Excellent sharpness, DOF, as well as composition. The side lighting is was a wonderful choice as it provides shadows as well as highlights showing off the birds details. Well done and presented!

Hello Britta -

This is a nice image but it really is under exposed. I will post a WS to brighten. I think removing all of the water texture was not a wise choice because it leaves the image with no reference. It really looks like the Swan is floating in space. Just my opinion.

Hello Beverley -

This is a very nice image. Great eye contact, sharpness is right on the money, exposure spot on, and a nice composition to boot. I like the low POV - where you lying on the grass to capture this image? Well done!

Hello Levend -

Excellent capture even though the image looks a bit soft and under exposed. I will be at Samburu this coming August so I hope I can capture a couple of these majestic cats.

Hello Mario -

Very nice image. Exposure looks to where it belongs, but I think the near feathers could be opened up just a bit. Suggest using shadows and highlights to open the shadows a bit for some detail. A more detailed note about the bird and the surroundings would be helpful.

Hello Clara -

Welcome to Trek Nature. This is a very nice image that looks to be well exposed and composed. The carpet of flowers the bird is standing on is rather interesting. Well done!

Hello Nicholas -

This is a very nice image. The detail on the bird and the surround branches is superb. The exposure is spot on and you have a nice catch light in the eyes. Part of me thinks that a shallower DOF would have softened the branches in the BG as they appear to be slightly distracting. The other part of me, says this image is spot and leave everything a lone. So, where do I go now? I think it is OK regardless! Well done and presented.

Hello Mike -

This is a nice image, but IMO I believe the bird is a bit too blocked up without a lot of detail. The surround bush and twigs are a bit bright and taking away from the bird. I will post a WS to open the bird up just a little bit.
