I like framing of the photo with the long-reaching branch across the top and the shoreline on the right. The photo seems a little blurry, most likely because you weren't using a tripod and the low light required a longer shutter speed. It is extremely difficult to hand-hold the camera still for more than a fraction of a second. Next time try resting the camera on a stationary object when you don't have a tripod. Can't wait to see the photos you take in Italy!

This is an excellent shot, as always! What lens were you using? You can't have been too close or he wouldn't have let you get the shot—must have been a telephoto. Nice DOF and ivy backdrop.

This is an interesting photo with the forest and cliff in the background. One thing I would change is the shadow and highlights adjustment to bring out the detail in the trees. I have done a workshop and posted it for example.
