Hi Luciano,
It's only February, but I already miss the lovely summer butterflies... This species is common at home in Hungary, but I haven't seen it here in Ireland yet. Your photo is lovely, with excellent sharpness, composition and color saturation. I love it!
Kind regards, László

Hi Lou,
So tiny, but so beautiful! I find cyphelloid fungi extremely attractive. Great photo, congratulations! I know most cyphelloidas cannot be identified without microscope, so just a hint: probably your photo shows Merismodes connivens (P. Karst.) Knudsen? At least the macroscopic features and the fruiting time correspond.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Hi Luciano,
Wonderful portrait of the big "doggy". Good composition, it doesn't seem incomplete to the viewer at all, even though the legs aren't in the frame. Congratulation for the great photo. And I also understand your surprise about the size: I felt exactly the same when I found this species - much larger than I ever expected.
Tfs, kind regards, László

Hi Srikumar,
Great, great, great! Absolute beautiful jackal portrait with, in spite of the big distance, excellent sharpness. Grass blades and the flowers are framing the "doggy" well. Nice pose from them, excellent timing from you. Brilliant image!
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Hi Francesco,
I love stone pines due to their shapes. Probably a little more zoom would make the composition more effective, with bigger trees and a little bit less of the greenery at the bottom, however, the "brothers" are spectacular in this size, too. I like how they are rising from the environment, and the rock wall makes the whole even more interesting. Great Mediterranean landscape.

Hi Silvio,
Flower became overexposed a bit, but the peacock butterfly is lovely, just the right exposure and colors. Tack sharp as well, with great shallow depth of field. Although usually I don't like overexposed parts on photos, it works now well as the contrast with the butterfly is great and its size isn't too big. Lovely image.

Hi Luciano,
White legs or not, this is the same invasive species, an alien pest... Anyway, both photos (including the WS) are good, probably the latter one is more spectacular due to the squirrel's pose (albeit the image looks overcropped), while on this one the curve of the tail's looking lovely. Well composed, interesting photo - although not such extraordinary IMHO as your previous post.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Hi Janice,
Good habitat shot. Reminded me to the rocks of the harbour seal (Phoca vitulina) colony in the Glengarriff Bay here in Ireland. Nice sunset lights also. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, László

Ciao Silvio,
Fantastic shot, the way you blurred the background, while the butterfly and the flower are tack sharp, is exceptional. Unbelievable image, hats off!
Kind regards, László
