This is a very good idea and hopefully one that will catch on around here. It is true that a lot of notes are superb but overlong, and that a lot of shots are great but only show one detail of the animal - or its habitat. You have managed to make the photo(collage) itself educational.

I am glad I came back to this. It has some great watercolor qualities. I would like to work in this with some paint tools - maybe I will.

Incredibly sharp. I can see you were some distance away, so the dof you achieved here, is impressive. And the sleepy way they all look at you is really funny.

Now, that's an interesting view. A completely different angle and even the colors look special. A nicely different shot - and good note.

What a strange frame, Kirsten. Always experimenting, eh? I like the out of focus tree in front. If the animal had been sharper it would have been great.

There is a lovely light and texture to this shot. I almost suggested filtering, but no, it must stay this way - like a painting. And the red flag is a nice disturbance.

Lots of action in this one. A pity it's a bit difficult to judge the chick's size. But lucky that its head has that shadowed area as background canvas. Makes it stand out nicely.

You really are very good at photographing water, Ziggy. The magnifying effect is indeed interesting. Good shot.

When I was a boy Chip'n'Dale were my two favorite cartoon characters - the way they always managed to bug Donald Duck. I can't see which one this is , but its one of them.

Good shot. Talk about camouflage. It is actually the shadow that betrays it - not the colours - they blend in perfectly. Very interesting with a moving person in the background.
