Hi Zeno....great capture from the Asa Wright. I have posted a couple of photos I took at the centre in '06, and it looks like we different on the name of this species...I suspect that you are correct, though. Good work.
Willem, As I great fan of sunsets, I really appreciate this one, especially since it was taken in a place where I have some fond memories. Thanks for posting.
Welcome to Treknature.....Very nice B&W landscapes you are posting. I look forward to more
Jane, You really captured a fantastic moment...one of those "once in a lifetime" things. In those cases, you just point and shoot...and hope for the best. Good work, tho
Nikos, A very beautiful photo, and happy new year to you, also.
Patrick, Either she is laughing, or she is talking to you. One or the other!. Nice capture...just a shame that her head is not in the sunshine, too. Thanks for sharing.
Bertrand, it is a Snowy Owl which normally breed in the Arctic and migrates slightly south during winter, depending on the availability of its main food supply, the lemming. Thanks for posting
mircea, Nice close-up and those water droplets really add interest to the shot. Good work
Welcome to Treknature, and nice job with your first post. An impression photo and a great description. I look forward to further posts from wonderful South Africa.
