Hello Alexei,

Your note is compelling and I'm saddened to hear of the situation in your country. Sadly even in a wealthy economy such as the UK, the same trends are appearing. I'm happy though to hear that you are happy and that you have retained a healthy attitude to life, despite your country's woes. Your note reminds me of a song by Mike Oldfield in which is sung: "for people who are alone or afraid, find a place outside, where you can be quite alone, and closer to nature, the heavens and God".

A great image, excellent exposure, very good control of the highlights and shadows, detail everywhere. Wonderfully clear and sharp, very good depth of field with a buttery-smooth background. Wonderful work from you again.

Kind regards,
Adrian

Hello Everton,
I like this, beautiful colours and good light and shadow. A very tranquil looking sky. Also close enough to see the details in that amazing rock formation. I'd like to see a wider angle view as well, just to take in some more of that beautiful landscape.
Regards,
Adrian

Hello Anna,
This is very good, not only technically but artistically as well. Very good depth of field, everything in focus which in this kind of image I think is quite important. Lovely shades of green throughout and the composition is perfect. The lines coming from the bottom right and fanning out, the Snake obligingly doing the same. I like the lines in this so much I posted a workshop with any breaks in the 'flow' of the lines cloned out, simply out of curiosity rather than an attempt to improve this fine image.
Kind regards,
Adrian

Hello Ralf,
A nice capture of this Yellowhammer. Great light and colours, good depth of field and good detail. Some halos around the bird, especially the wing and tail.
Regards,
Adrian

Hi Demetrio,
Agree with your note, these birds are more often heard than seen. A nice composition and great background, given the situation you were in a good capture. The light wasn't really in your favour but from a kayak not a lot you could do about that.

Adrian

Hello Chris,
A nice image of this little fellow, good detail and colour, good depth of field to have pretty much everything in focus. I think the white spot in the BG and the out of focus rock to the right are a little distracting, a tighter crop would go a long way to relieving that and also show us a little more detail. Good image though.
Regards,
Adrian

Hello Omer,
A beautiful image. Well composed and great timing, good depth of field to retain wingtip to wingtip focus. The upper wing has a few hotspots, if you use Shadow/Highlight adjustment in Photoshop and set Shadow to 0, Highlight to 13/9/1 it will recover the detail there.
Best regards,
Adrian

Hi Steve,
A good capture, very well handled exposure and good detail. A shame you couldn't use a smaller aperture to bring everything into the depth of field (looks like the light was in short supply) but we rarely get everything we want in one place on the same day :-) An interesting plant and quite beautiful, I've never seen one before.

Adrian

Hello JeanPierre,
A nice image, good composition and beautiful colours on the Flamingos. Good detail too. There is a small hotspot on the back of the upper Flamingo and some detail lost in the wings, I posted a workshop to address that. Hope you don't mind the workshop and that you find it useful.
Kind regards,
Adrian

Hello Bob,
A nice image here, great depth of field to keep everything in focus. The reflection is well exposed, the sky has a few hotspots, a graduated neutral density filter would help there. A nicely composed image, nice work.

Adrian
