My goodness, a lot of information you have on this little bird - that I have never seen or heard of before. I should go to the zoo more often I guess. Nice and clear and detailed shot.
OK, one more thing I have to worry about when I go to sleep now. Thank you very much.
Very good profile shot, sharp and clear and with a nice discreet background. The angle of the light is also very good. The feathers make you want to touch them, they're that soft to look at.
I was surprised to see how small this was - just 100 kb and 700 pixels wide. And as always with scanned images, they need to filtered for noise in the sky. As for the landscape and the note: stupendous.
Well, you were lucky to get the light right on the body, but the head is not visible enough, and he is of course so camouflaged that it is difficult to see what is what. But at leats you spotted him. don't think I have ever seen one.
Very nice silhouette of the ridge against the clouds. Is that sunlight or moonlight? Anayway, a very special atmosphere to this. I don't think I want to experience monsson rains. I did a WS on the sky.
Wow, some day I will collect all your philosophical ramblings and publish a book that will knock the Dalai Lama off the bookshelves. But I love it. And then a large version to boot. Yes, I suppose that really shows the span of history between him and you. Great.
Hi Marco, is it really that rare? You certainly managed an incredibly sharp picture of it and I believe his left eye has discovered you and is wondering why you aren't extinct already. Nice shot. The rocks look liquid.
Another prince waiting to be kissed. I seem to detect some very good PP work here. The overall impression of colours, depth, sharpness and detail is certainly extremely pleasing and close to artistic. Even the framing is unusual. I like it.
Welcome to TN, Pamela. I will check out your shots on the other sites. What strikes me is a girl from Chile posting deer from a zoo in Holland, There must be a story in there. Anyway, the deer are cute. Nice dark background.
