Great close-up of a Tricolored Heron. Though the light was difficult, causing ovcerexposure in places, the colors are generally good, as is the sharpness and composition.
Maybe with such strong light it is safer to underexpose a little, but it's a good shot.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
Interesting portrait of very nice heron. Ilike the hard light here, but maybe not help the contrast with shadows in the face.
great colors, except for the base of the beak where it's a bit overexposed. fantastic focus and a very good pose. they eye is nice and the background is good.
selam angela; where were you, i have missed you here:) but you came a great work, excellent close up shot with splendid colours nice Bg and sharpness TFS well done dear:)
Very nice...Great color and detail...It's amazing to see such a close-up(macro) of a wild bird...Informative note...
This is a great closeup portrait! The hard light mad this exposure very difficult I guess.
However I like the pose, the crop and the composition very much. Where did you take this photo?
Angela, a beautiful and impressive image. A great moment.
I like colors and "pose" a lot. Great exposure.
I tried a workshop.
This rocks! Nice shot here. The colors and detail look excellent. Nice timing to get this pose. I could never get this close. Maybe next trip :)
I'm giving you points just for courage!!!!
No way would I get that close!
Awesome photo...great pov - head peeking up, reflection.
One of the most difficult things of this Heron to photograph are the good colours. From a distance you don't see the details at all. But you did. Very beautiful. Good composition.
