Hi Luciano,
A quick TN-check from Dublin airport. :-) Beautiful macro shot to close your Georgian travelogue with, pleasant composition. Perfect depth and especially light management, I didn't even think the flash was fired when the photo was shot. Gorgeous.

Hi Srikumar,
Beautiful image with the mirror effect, the high ISO (I mean the grain) isn't visible at all, both the bird and the reflection are wonderful, sharpness is perfect. Probably the bottom of the reflection's a little too closed to the edge of the frame (for me at least) - otherwise an exceptional image taken in difficult conditions. Congratulations!

Hi Hasan,
Suillus species aren't very varied in chromatism or in textures, so in the given circumstances your photo's spectacular enough, although the closest square centimeters of the cap is a bit unsharp (out of focus). However, there's a serious spelling mistake in the name, instead of Suillus graveillei, correctly it's Suillus grevillei (Klotzsch) Singer, and the taxonomic info's incorrect also, the genera belongs to the family Suillaceae, not to Boletaceae.

Hi Ron,
Although composition and the colors are very nice, all the insects + also the flower seem oversharpened and the background noisy. A pity, because the scene's spectacular enough.

Dear sógor (Schogor),
Until you post a new photo, I have to browse the older ones in your beautiful gallery - what I do with great pleasure, of course. This scene reminds me to a couple of Irish summits - the difference is the altitude, as our mountains are much smaller (even the highest top is on 1040 meters asl. only). But the same "stone desert" and subalpine sheep pasture, not to mention the same stone columns. Very interesting. Nice composition, a little overexposure here and there on the clouds, but the view's breathtaking.

Beautiful action shot, perfectly frozen flight with tack sharp body and plumage. Exposure's spot on, too, few but excellent colors, simple and blurry background + most importantly, enchanting composition. Absolutely delightful capture! Brava!

The colors of the clouds are well captured and spectacular, but the sun's too small in the frame and its position's IMHO too central.

Hi Janice,
I'm not sure if you're still here, but I hope you are. This is a nice raw material, but IMHO you didn't work on PP enough. I think a vertical composition with cropping a lot from the left would suit the subject better (I literally agree with Srikumar), and selective sharpening might be done on the flower itself as it's a little bit out of focus. Background's also noisy a bit. So, this capture is "good, but...". Don't be afraid of using PP, its purpose is removing the "but".

Hi Lou,
Fantastic species, very rare in my home country, Hungary also - unfortunately I never found this beauty myself yet. About composition and white balance, I have a bit different ideas, what I demonstrate with a workshop - however, finding this rarity alone deserves the highest credit, especially when supported with a good photo.

Beautiful action shot, just the way it should be: perfect ultrafast shutter speed to freeze the flight, beautiful lights, sunny blue sky as background, with no clouds. Exposure was excellent, as well the way how you composed the heron into the frame. Exceptional shot, congratulations!

Ciao Silvio,
Stunning photo with fantastic lights, colours and sharpness. Although I like the shallow depth you created, probably with wider f-stop (5.6 or so) the result would even be more spectacular. Just a personal opinion, I like the pic as it is. Congratulations for the great image.

The story speaks for itself, and you're extremely lucky that you were closed enough to freeze the moment to the eternity. Absolutely stunning photo, with perfect exposure - and it's so funny to see the real, natural moirée effect. :-) Huge congratulations for this masterpiece.

Hi Luciano,
Brilliantly captured in the wild, but IMHO lacks the necessary post-procession (cropping). I mean, the blank space at the left side and at the bottom is a bit too much to my taste. Otherwise an absolutely stunning photograph in your unmistakable style. The way how you use flash is totally unique and is something I continuously learn from you (sometimes with a bit of success, but not that often). Except for the little too central composition, a very spectacular shot.

Without doubt this is my fave Indian butterfly species, colorful and very spectacular. Your photo is simply a minimalistic masterpiece with perfect exposure, composition, lights, colors and sharpness, the simple grey background makes good contrast with the conspicuous butterfly. Brilliant!

Nice family photo. The composition, how you used the dry grass as frame for the mongoose family is fantastic. Colors and lights are great as well - however, I agree with Luciano about the slight oversharpening.
