Nice inflight capture of this Hooded Crow as it intimidates the much larger eagle. I see small birds and crows hassling hawks in this same manner quite regularly. Very sharp focus revealing excellent detail while showing beautiful natural colors.

The lighting was quite harsh, but you still managed to capture the true beauty of these colorful flowers. I like how they appear in different shades of yellow, red, and orange. This particular plant seems to produce very lush and dense foliage.

A very pretty flowering plant that is in its seed stage. The reddish colored seed heads with white silk like hairs contrasts nicely with the grey boulders in the BG. I like the backlighting effect you managed to capture.

I see you captured this cute little male in an attractive frontal pose. Seems to be busy feeding on nuts and doesn't mind having his picture taken. I actually did enjoy your series, there is not a day goes by that I don't see a number of these agile acrobats of the forest.
Sharply focused allowing us to view its colorful coat in fine detail. Wonderful eye contact with a bit of catchlight visible. The beautiful leaves make a very pretty BG.

Today your cute little Red Squirrel is gazing straight down at Luciano's Grey Squirrel. What a pretty specimen with lovely markings and beautiful colors. These tiny squirrels always seem to be hyper and almost never sit still for long. I love their adorable white eye markings and chattering calls.

What a fantastic find, I have never seen anything quite like it. The fly is speared through its eye by an extremely sharp thorn. It obviously would have taken some unusual force to pierce it this way. Just a normal landing would never have caused such a thing. Perhaps a very strong burst of wind forced it downward into this precarious position or a bird could have been chasing it. Either way we will never know what actually caused its unique demise.
Your macro image is top quality In my opinion!!

Pretty neat idea of yours. When viewing the entire page of thumbnail photos your squirrel appears to be looking directly at Ishi's squirrel. Perhaps he is a bit jealous of all the nuts it has, I swear it is licking its lips in envy;)
Seriously, this is a great shot of the grey squirrel in a classic pose. I just saw one tonight along with a black squirrel. Some litters contain both grey and black versions here in our area of Ohio. Well done!!

A neat shot of this beautiful Grey Squirrel as it feeds on walnuts. From the looks of the large pile of shells it has found a bountiful tree. The focus is sharp while the colors are well saturated and natural. Great eye contact with a bit of catchlight visible.
The work shop is a bit soft on detail, but still an enjoyable image to view.
