[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]

It is a large fungus that grows on dead wood, after cremation, in the equatorial forest.

Thank you for determination.

The photograph was taken in the forest near a village called Lugo (about 80 km from Kisangani by the rivers Zaire and Lomami).

The picture was made in a sunny and clear morning. The camera is set to full automatic mode, due to the limited time available to complete the cliché.

Probably the same species I commented a few minutes ago... Wonderful, and the semi-panoramic format you chose also rules! A real masterpiece! Bravo!
