|Well I think that this is the white morph Western Reef Heron.|
A most comical bird and very watchable, the performance that it showed for me was amazing.
It would run along the beach, create the shadow with its wing, then go into attack mode.
Humans were of no consequence to him, it came within 2 metres of my friend, who was lying on a lilo in the lagoon.
