Interesting display you have; stars are below the sky they are! Never saw one before..how cool is this!

Hello Luciano,
Very interesting image in natural environment. Would this one be referred to as a brittle star? Not sure. I did a bit of reading-up in Wikipedia as we often recognise fossils of echinoderms, especially crinoids. Interesting also that they regenerate damaged and broken limbs and that they shed limbs which can, in some cases, regenerate a new individual. A very good contribution in excellent quality. Well done.

Luciano,

Takes all kinds to make-up the world! Echinoderms are no exception to the extreme biodiversity although a more primitive member of the animal Kingdom. Good show, TFS.

really i love this species because of its shape. the shape itself is a mystery that can tag many stories with it. the species has more biological importance on this earth as well as in imagination. good work. tfs.
