[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Found free swimming in the southern Egyptian Red Sea. Not sure but think this is a Great Turtle, or Chelonia Myades. I have taken a little of the backscatter from the background, but not all as it seemed to give the image an arteficial feel. Whilst the turtle has a formidable looking beak, it is very docile in nature.

David you do need to consider for this and future posting to TN that NOTES about the subect you post as an image, and about where and how you achieved the shot and any post work you did to it to prepare it for posting here. There are a lot of good examples already on the site and most people are very approachable for help both in how to write and research the notes and answer your identification questions if you are stuck.
Be warned lack of informative notes is now a reason for images to be removed from TN.

Pure heaven. I like its freedom and isolation amidst the turquoise color of the water. I would have liked more water in front of the turtle to have more space for it to swim.

For an underwater shot, this is goos. I agree with Flip89 that the shot is a centered.
Otherwise the focus is good and the colours very nice. Well done.

David, I always enjoy this type of image simply because I've been to this "other world" and everytime I see one it takes me there! I envy you! Keep em' coming & thanx for posting!

A really good first post David. I like your turtle and its blue background.
But your Photographer's Note is not elaborated. Even the name of your turtle is not there. If you want some feed-back, you must tell us basic informations. Look for others's Photographer's Note please. You can always edit them in the 'manage' tool. Thanks for posting.
