[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Geckos are predominently nocturnal lizards that are well known for their climbing ability. Most species have climbing pads on the undersides of their feet. These pads have microscopic hairs which cling by friction. These, along with claws that cling to surface irregularities, help geckos climb ceilings, walls, and even glass. Typically, geckos have fixed or immovable eyelids (they can't blink). To keep their eyes clean, they lick them with their long tongue. At night, a gecko's pupil opens wide to let more light in. By day it closes to a very small row of tiny holes.

Hi Sochirca,
Nice shot of this nocturnal creature on white ceiling (or wall?). Interesting eyes and fingers. Well captured. Sharp.

Well done Sochirca.
An interesting composition with the gecko seeming to hover in space above the dazzling white :)
Great detail, POV, and a good supporting note.

Hi Sochirca,
Beautiful sharp presentation of this Gecko.
The feet and suction pads shoe up very well, especially with the contrasting BG wall.
TFS, regards, Ivan

Hi Sochirca, Very good capture of this delightful looking lizard. Having tried several times and getting poor results, it is good to see what a quality one this is. TFS. Murray.

Hello Sochirca
I just love those fingers, which are most useful to this species.
Good details and exposition.

Have a good week

What a cute reptile! I like this gecko a lot! It has fantastic legs and was presented in very good way with great sharpness and contrast.
By the way, just for fun - please feel free to see my gecko picture taken in similar condition here :)
