[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
African spurred tortoise (Geochelone sulcata) 3rd largect land turtle (tortoise) in the world and largest African turtle. This big old guy can be found on the black continent crossing all deserts from Atlantic to Indian Ocean from Muritania and Senegal all the way to Ethiopia on a very thin longitudinal strip stretching above the sub-Saharan arid regions.
Take a close look at the scales on fis front leg, isnt that amazing?

Amazing animal!
Framing is unusual, but interesting. I like the light, it is soft and directional. We can feel the age of the animal. Good work and TFS

Excellent shot. The composition is very good and the shot is crips and contrasty enough.

Well captured, maybe add a frame before writing on the foto (just MHO)

The close crop works very well here. The composition and the placement of the tortoise's head is very good. Nice textures and colors. Well done!

Nice shot Radu! Your ancient one has a lot of interesting detail to gaze upon. Paul :)

This is very nice Radu. He does look "ancient", and rather on the crusty side.
Sorta like yours truly ;-) Thank You.
