This genus ( Falcuna) known as the marbles.
A leptinid type butterfly...closely related to the Liptena. They sit on bare twigs like other Liptenids.
This one photographed in forest in Bobiri National Reserve, Ghana.

Another nice insect in a natural pose, well captured. Do you have any info on food plants of these genera? They remind me a bit of Miletinae from SE Asia and they are carnivorous as larvae. Mind you, they also look a bit like some of the Lycaenopsis Group (I'm thinking A.puspa female above) so phytophagy is more likely. Perhaps I should get Torben Larsen's book - do you have it? Thanks.
