[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Eucalyptus (From Greek, ευκάλυπτος = "Well covered") is a diverse genus of trees (and a few shrubs), the members of which dominate the tree flora of Australia. There are more than seven hundred species of Eucalyptus, mostly native to Australia, with a very small number found in adjacent parts of New Guinea and Indonesia and one as far north as the Philippines islands. Many Eucalyptus have been planted in the dry regions of Southern California and in Africa.

Hi Shir,
From the thumbnail I thought this was an aerial photo :o) It's a beautiful detail. Colors are great and composition is lovely. Looks like a painting. Well seen and photographed. TFS
Best wishes,

que colores maravillosos!! gran abstracto!

Hi Shir,
I must admit I wasn't sure what I was looking at at first. It seemed more like some sort of airial shot but I couldn't work out what the red bits were.....finally I got it! A great closeup and an interesting idea and perspective.
Regards, David

Hi Shir

What a lovely "landscape" of colours on this eucalyptus. Actually the thumbnail smuggled with my mind and what a pleasant surprise when I opened the photo. I have never before seen such colours on any eucalyptus. Normally one would only see powder white, soft grey, dryish brown, washed tan, or dullish greenish colours, but this is an explosion of bright vivid colours and a pleasure to the eye. I would really love to see a complete specimen of one of these trees in all its dazzling beauty.

Well spotted and captured with excellent details and colour saturation. TFS.
