Hello Tom,this is a really nice Natural History shot, the eland with his well weathered appearance is beautifully portrayed in its environment.Super sharp detail in a perfect composition.

Hello Tom,
thank you for the dedication (that is fearless on Women's Day!), it gives me great pleasure.
In fact, this eland is very similar to those I saw in Southern Africa. OK, I saw only old males. For this species also, I prefer young ladies -:)
It's a very interesting portrait of "the real life" with impressive sharpness.
Thanks again, Philippe.

Hello Tom,
I am always amazed at the incredible diversity of wildlife living in Africa. This image is just another example of one of the unique species that thrive in this wonderful country.
Such a beautiful creature with it's long spiraling horns and sad looking eyes. The color and pattern of it's coat must aid it immensely in staying camouflaged against any would be predators.

Hello Tom
Beautiful photo of this bull Eland, it is just
a matter of taste, I try to never cut an animal
from a photo like the one behind this bull Eland,
in that situations I try to zoom out or change
my POV to not cut an animal, but sometimes you
don't have the choice, and you took the photo, TFS
