[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little fellow inhabits the rainforests of eastern Madagascar. The Leaftailed Gecko is camouflaged with a tail resembling a rotten leaf and can be almost invisible. But not when its open its mouth!

I made many photos of this gecko on Nosy Mangabe but it was only for an instant that it partly opened its mouth and i saw the bright red colours. Unfortunately i got just the head and not its tail. Have left the picture as it without cropping.

Great POV of that little gecko, Dylan. Fantastic shot, really.
Fun perspective with its mouth open and tongue showing. The markings on the eyeballs are amazing. Are those eyes open or closed? I find the white spots distracting. I tried a workshop, if you don't mind. I love that little fellow. TFS. : )

Wow Dylan, this is very good. You were lucky to snap it at the right time. And what bright colours in its mouth. Well captured. TFS.

I love how he is peeking down! Nice, creative shot. Maybe the background could be blurred some on the right though, or some of the conrast taken out on the right.
