Thanks for the identification! Nyctemera insulare which is found in Mauritius, Reunion, the Comores and perhaps East Africa. It is obviously quite common here. Google images show that they are often seen at rest on green leaves like this

A beautifully marked moth with very pretty subtle colors on it's wings. I especially like the bold contrasting colors near the head. You have done a good job of photographing it for us.
