Hello Annick

A lovely capture of this Red Hartebeest with young.
The composition is terrific.
I like the low POV,almost like the view of a predator.
The colours are natural and well saturated.
There is a nice DOF .

Hello Annick,

You have used very well the DOF. Animals are well separated from for and background. Image has a high quality showing sharply both animals. The well rendered colors make the photo look absolutely natural.

Hello Annick,

Wonderful image of this Red Hartebeest with habitat. It is so real and upclose. Striking details and faded BG are dramatic.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Annick,

Great to have mom and child in the image with both very sharp and detailed. It looks like the Etosha white mud on the face It is strange the way they rub their foreheaads in the mud or sand.

Hello Annick !
What a great picture ! I love this Hartebeest, it's not something we can see every day on TN, and they are very beautiful antilopes. The shape of their horns looks a bit strange, but I like it. Sharpness and details are excellent, beautiful composition, nice natural colors, great POV. It's a fantastic picture of mother and baby. Very well done !
Valérie.

hello Annick
a very beautiful capture of the mother and calf. this is kind of a unique image. I didn't remember to see this species and such a special pose.

What extraordinary must be to have opportunity to see views like this live (not only in pictures)

Hello Annick,
very beautiful picture with Red Hartebeests! I like composition, details, colours and BG.

Best regards, Leonid

Hello Annick,

A fine capture of this lovely mother and calf.
They are sharply focussed and therefore, the details are clear.
Well composed and using a good dof.I like how the infocus bush makes the link between the f/g and b/g.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Quite a nice prey for a lion !!
Nice DOF perfect isolation of the animals from fore and back ground
regards
Patrick

Excellent shot of these Hartebeest,(gnot a gnu) lookng pretty relaxed on the savannah.
A very prickly looking tre in the background (no doubt evolved to protect itself against grazing hHartebeest, amongst other things.
It looks rather like a plant I had growing in Pirongia called Xanthoxylum, or Xanthozylum.
Is it the same,or is this some kind of Acacia?
Very interesrting anyway.
Cheers & TFS
Steve

hi annick,
very good image of this beest with young one, you could have given more space on top than bottom to make it better. some more habitat will make this image more environmental image. tfs.

Hi Annick.
I live in sunny region and when sun is absent all around is sad. However, your shots despite the absence of sunlight are looked greatly. At this one colours are rich and wonderful and of course pictured scene is fine and touching. Details of the cute animals as well as blurriness of the BG and piece of the FG are refined. My kind regards and compliments.
Alexei.

Hi Annick,
this is really outstanding.Clarity and the poses are pleasant. The soft blurry background really throw the beuaty into your shot. I like the details very much even the mark on the face is noticeable .
Excellent composition.

Regards,
Foozi

Hallo Annik, let me use that opportunity to congratulate you for this wonderful shot and ask you how often you are using the maximum aperture f/2.8 of this lens? Have you got any experience with the cheaper f/5.6 version of the same focal length?
Thanks for sharing and have a great week!

George Veltchev
