well...what to say. this is the view i had once arriving on the top of a dune in dead vlei. it was spectacular and vertiginous. far and wide only red sand dunes and the nice dead vlei in the middle. i have to say honestly, it was horrendously exhausting klimbing up this dune on the deep sand and i was also scared about my camera, but finally it worths the trouble.

I find this very unusual Catia. What a stark contrast in color. It is a bit baffling too. It is an effective abstract composition. When using a polarizing filter on horizontal images it can be turned away from maximum effect in order to avoid the uneven saturation in the sky.

What a view, Catia, it is incredible! The only thing, I wonder why are the lines so straight, on the left, the dune falling into dead vlei is straight, is that possible or there's something that I miss. I love the contrasting colours, the warm beautiful light too! Thank you,

Wonderful shot from the top of that dune. Superb handling of harsh natural lighting and lovely saturated and contrasting colours. I like your chosen POV to portray maximum visual impact. Hats off for this fine image and also for your effort in climbing so high.

Your landskape looks very well as you have rendered so well the contrasting colors. I also like the comosition of your photo with those diagonaly placed lines. Good image quality too as details of the landscape can be well seen.
