[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have captured this Red Faced Mousebird (Urocolius indicia) in our yard. It's very difficult to capture this mousebird species, because they don't like to stay in open space; always in bush. This is second species of mouse bird I found in our yard. Although, sexes are similar, but this is male bird because I was there unfortunately, in their mating moment !!! I will show you female one another time.

Red Faced Mousebird is a species of mousebird or Colt. It's common in Southern Africa from Zaire, Zambia and Tanzania south to Cape; South Africa.
Habitat - Savanna with thickets, fynbos, scrub or other open woodland.
Size - 34 cm
Color - Crested head and breast are pale cinnamon with a red bill and eye mask.

Hello Srikumar,
One of the best photos of this species I've ever seen. Fantastic focus on the head. The many branches are a bit disturbing, but that's nature.

hello Srikumar
une très belle prise sur cet oiseau, avec une bonne profondeur de champ.
Bonne netteté sur l'œil, bon impact du rouge.

Hello Sri,
An impressive bird with its long tail. Very nice presentation, the bird sitting on the diagonal of the picture :-)
Take care

Olá Srikumar,
I agree with Peter saying that's one of the best photos of birdies I had seen.
Very good diagonal placement and inspired lighting.

great portrait, TFS Ori
