Due to a lot of pressure at the office, my time to research the specimens I am posting, as well is the time to comment on all the beautiful images, is severely limited, so I will only post the basics and comment when I can until the projects have been completed. We are doing a complete IT infrastructure upgrade in preparation for SAP and this will be completed at the end of December. Please bear with my notes and comments until then.

Great DOF on this Delta emarginatum, Japie... and... all is great in this picture. TFS.

Very nice macro Japie! Great detail..the pond water not only adds a great effect but interest also as explained in your note. Great post!

You are very brave!! Ek is skyt bang vir hierdie goed. Excellent shot, with amazing detail. Theses wasps are more temperamental than hippos, and they have a nasty sting, or I should actually say stings as they do not stop after 8 to 10 stings. Well done!!

This nis excellent Japie. Good colours and detail. Your usual brilliance. Very good job.

Trés belle image , contraste couleur et détail de l'insecte, bon travail

Is this reincarnation of ,,Hell`s Angels,, ?
Quite shocking appeareance, love the look on this lad !

Excellent shot Japie. I like the water rippling away from it. Sharp details. Really nice one.
