[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had captured this Green New Guienea Tree Python in Pretoria Zoo,South Africa.

Scientific Classification:

This is an arboreal Python, with a length of 1.5-1.8 m.It has a slender, laterally compressed body. Its head is dimond shaped and as in other pythons, the head scales are irregular, numerous and finely granular. The head also is much wider than and appears disproportional to the width of the body. They have three thermosensory pits within the upper and five to seven within the lower labials.

Thanks for viewing....

Hi Srikumar.
It is great that you have met this giant in Zoo not in a wild :). You have reflected its colouration and texture perfectly. Only range of lights/shadows is too wide a bit. But it is really Zoo (light conditions) and not a wild. Warm regards and TFS.

this is wonderful species i have only seen in books of snakes. i think this should be photographed in open forests under green leafs to get the exact effect. tfs.

Grea close up Srikumar! Details perfect with magnifcient colours. TFS.
