|This tree is standing on the Randfontein Golf Course in South Africa. After being striked by lightning it died and I suspect that it will fall over during our windy August. |
It is a Blue Gum tree (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gum_tree), it is not native to South Africa and uses to much water for our country. Therefore the goverment has stared a drive to remove all the Blue Gum trees.
