Critiques [Translate]

Dear Hande
Your sense of design is excellent. Having the left bird line up with the wake of the first bird ties the two together. Cropping to the long horizontal shape is helpful too. There is just enough wave action to create an overall pattern. More detail in the ducks and greater sharpness would move the photo up several notches.
Peter

Dear Hande,
Welcome to TrekNature. I also joined in September, and I enjoy this site very much. I am sorry, Peter (phouts), who wrote first - did not use the "critique" but the "comment" i.e. you did not get any points.

The layout of your photo is really unusual as well as interesting. It reminds me of Chinese Shadow Theatre!

The whole "atmosphere" of the image is sombre, and the dark frame adds to this impression.

What time of the day did you take the photo, and what was the weather like?

The whole image is like late autumn, November in Europe - slightly foggy and miserable - summer is gone and winter coming.

This - of course - does NOT apply to the actual situation i.e.September in South Africa. However, it can be miserable at the Vaal Dam...

I am really looking forward to see your next photo.

Have a nice evening,
best wishes from the bush,
Kind Regards
Ingrid
