black eagle being tormented by a pied crow!

This is the female of a breeding pair of black eagle nesting on a hill-top at Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden Johannesburg. A pair of pied crow were seen trying to intimidate these black eagles. sometimes table turns and the eagle starts giving these crows a hiding.
There is a single chick in the nest and the eagles were seen bringing fresh tree branches full of green leaves to layer up there nest apparently to cover the dirt and other stuff accumulated.

what an amazing capture, paul! :-)
the eagle inflight would have been terrific itself,
but together with the annoying crow it really steps up to top level.
excellent composition and pov with perfect timing on the
moment the crow was almost completely above the eagle.
well done & take care, thorsten.

Amazing capture perfect timing

Paul, what a capture, are you above them?

Scott

An amazing capture. Good thing you had the USM, or this might have been pair of black blurs.

Hi Paul,
That is a fantastic shot of the two birds juxtaposed in full flight.
A great capture (and a difficult one) with sharp details and excellent light.
What a stunning POV.
TFS. : )

Hi Paul, great shot of a great moment. The only "wish" i have is , if the focus was on the eagle and if it could be more sharp compared to the crow, that's the way i would prefer. But, i have no chance to see any of those species if you did not post this photo, thanks a lot for sharing

Paul,

Amazing capture of the two birds in action. The composition, clear sky in BG and detail are all great. TFS,
Sheriff
