Great Creasted Grebe

|Great Creasted Grebe (Podiceps cristatus)|
I have captured this 'Great Creasted Grebe' at Marieval Bird Sanctuary, early in the morning. I saw two birds were busy to make their nest. So this one was very busy to go under water to find suitable watery plants for their nest. So here, its beauty doesn't look such great due to its wet feathers. But I've tried my best to present the atmosphere which I have cherished. Early morning light and reflection of blue sky on water surface help me to maintain decent exposure.
It's a watery bird of the Grebe family and noted for its elaborate mating display. The adults are unmistakable in summer with their head and neck. decoration

This species is also common in Eurasia, but I don't remember if I've ever seen such a spectacular photo of them. The early morning lights are fantastic, such as the simple, yet pleasant composition. Great exposure as well, and a powerful image overall. Congratulations!
Kind regards from Ireland, László
