Reed Cormorant
I have captured this Reed Cormorant at Marieval Bird Sanctuary, at the time of Sunset. Although, it's not a new species in my gallery, but it's a different location and POV. It's a small Cormorant and it has long tail, so it's called "Long-Tailed Cormorant" too. I'm lucky here, not much straws or reeds didn't cross behind its head.
Beautiful bird! |

Hello Srikumar,
Exceptional capture of a nice specie. The details and colors are superb. The light help you to take such a magnificent image.
In Danube Delta are living two species of cormorant..... pygmy cormorant (Microcarbo pygmaeus)and the great cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo).
