Agama no 3

|My third Agama Lizard posting – and what do they say about a third time lucky. (I hope)|
There’s a saying in Afrikaans ”aanhouer wen” which means try and try again so I took an oath that I would keep on taking photo’s of the Agama’s until I got it right and I'm not saying this one is right but I think its better than the ones I've posted before.
Its Mopani Moth time in our area and every morning when I get to work there are quite a few Mopani Moths sitting against the glass doors. Yesterday I picked one up during lunch time and transported it to our little garden where I could take a photo with more natural surroundings. Unfortunately it did not like to be moved around and started flopping around so I gave up and sat down on the bench close by in the hope that it would calm down so I could take a photo. But it was not meant to be as suddenly this Agama Lizard came down from a tree with a speed and started chasing the poor moth and finally caught it. I was so shocked that I almost forgot to take some photos. Unfortunately it was a bit far from me and the quality of the photos were not good enough to post on TN. So today I went back out into the sweltering heat at lunch time in the hope of seeing the lizard again and to try and get a much better shot at him and was I lucky because it almost looked like he knew I was photographing him and he posed for me in quite a few positions not even far from where I stood. This one was one of the best so please enjoy and comments are welcome.

Hallo my friend Natley
What a wonderful portrait you have here! The details captured of the Agama's scales is brilliant and seen with great clarity. I just love the chin in the air almost cheeky pose. I see it has a eye on you. The point of view from the side is just perfect showing the profile beautifully. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
