[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I think this is a Red-eyed dove.
I remember there was a discussion lately whether this was a Red-eye dove? I'm still a bit puzzled about this species.
The location was a restcamp. It was photographed at sunset just before dusk. The amount of light and the color temperature were changing very quickly.
I took the bird's natural colors (more or less) as an indicator while changing the white balance in the editor.

Thanks and have a nice day..

Hello Annick,
Fine capture of a Red-eye Dove (correct ID!) with good light management in difficult evening light conditions. Fine POV and the colours and composition are excellent.
TFS this fine image,

Hi Annick.
I love this nice and tender species of birds. However, I meet only one and another species in our region. Pictured by your dove is very cute. Despite the light BG (I like its colouarion and blurriness so much) you managed to take nicely detailed dove image. Twig and leaves pattern are amazing. My best wishes and TFS.
