I was going for my morning drive in the Kruger National Park, like every morning, and found this beautifull young male lying in the early morning sun next to the road!

Hello Rene,
How wonderfully lucky you are to be able to take an early morning drive in KNP every morning. And a strange thing happened here....At first I thought your image is just slightly overexposed, which would be easy to tone down, but then, the longer I looked at it the more it grew on me. Pity you do not allow photo info or tell us how far you were from him, but that is secondary. What a beautiful image.

Two things are pretty obvious to me in this image. The first one is the lost detail in the highlights due to the high contrast settings and the overexposure .. and the second one is the very tight portrait where the eyes of this gorgeous lion has been placed too close to the edge of the frame. It may be a question of a personal taste but I feel that the chosen composition doesn't work particularly well for my senses ! Take care and I really hope to see more exiting work from you shortly !
