Swainson's Spurfowl
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I had captured this 'Swain son's Spur fowl' (Pternistis swainsonii) in Kruger National Park during our late morning drive.
The red throat and eye patch distinguish it from other Spurfowl except the Red-Necked Spurfowl. Legs and bill are dark. The body is brown with dark stripes. Found in Bushveld with patches of grass and thickets, like riverine too. Forages on open patches, sometimes with other Spurfowl. Roosts on trees. |

Hello Srikumar,
I've been away for a two week vacation and haven't been on site. I'm sitting at the airport ready to head home and looked at your photo on my iPhone. A beautiful bird posed in an attractive manner while displaying exceptional detail. Well saturated colors and a great blurred BG. A real treat!!

Srikumar,
C'est une superbe photo, très bon rendu des couleurs et des textures.
Le fond est dans une bonne tonalité.
Salutations

Hi Srikumar,
The branches are helping to frame the bird. The point of view is showing the details of the Swainson's Spurfowl. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
