Well, I was going to post a duck for Paul and somehow stumbled across the guy, and I have not played in CS with this image before. Unfotunately, my large image is missing, and I had to make do with an image size of just over 1Mb, hence I know their is a lot of noise, even after I ran it through NI once in large format.
You shouls all know this young leoprd male by now, he has featured often, and may do so again.
The strange speckled thing is part of a tree branch behind his body. I like the intensity of his eyes and this is the Prince of predators.
Shooting info same as Krulstert, using my wife's shoulder as a tripod.

Callie the prince of the wild shots,
Very good one Callie you know it's a fantastic shot. the colours are great even as the sharpnes, and what a great composition, erg goede foto mijn vriend.

Your prince is princely, Callie. Well done on his portrait. I especially like the warm tones on this image.
Just to play around with photoshop elements I tried a workshop.

It's a fantastic name you have given it, but I am biased of course ;-). You mention the quality so I won't. It's a very nice shot the light is gorgeous, especially on the eyes and nose. Lovely composition and colours. Nice work Callie.

Oh! An aristo-cat!
Great personnality he has, indeed.
Some royal blood pours into its veins.
He wears proudly his dress better than all the heads crowned of the planet.
His glance forces the respect.
But his realm is less and less vast.

Thanks Callie.

Excellent detail and clarity. Very nice portrait shot. I love your cats very much!!!

Great picture Callie.

The shot is excellent indeed but you said it yourself; there's a lot of noise and it's a little disturbing. Great pose, composition and POV.

Great shot Callie, a sad wistful expression that you have caught to perfection.
Good note also.
Thanks for sharing.

Callie. Well done on his portrait. Excellent detail and clarity. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Callie. Everything has been said. Superb!
I liked Mike´s workshop, but I also like this one with the cyans. A question of taste...In my forest macro shots, with the foggy ligths we have, everything is cyan. When I PP at home, I use to leave some blues around and my wife always tell me to take them away :D
Regards, Felipe.

As usual a good shot , the POV is good allowing the prince to control the space, good single highlights in the eyes giving them a wonderful life. TFS

You certainly have a very patient - and stable ;-)) - wife.
Pin-sharp capture, I don't see any noise, great POV, colours and light.

Excellent portrait Callie...everything is very nice here especially the intensity of the eyes...very well done.

You have been fortunate with getting shots of leopard. I know how shy and elusive they are. This is another great one. I will be chasing one (hopefully) four weeks from now.

Hi Callie,

I like the eyes, they are sharp and eye-catching. You mentioned the noise already, my nit with this shot is the branch at the back, but as we all know, you can't ask a leopard to pose somewhere else to exclude the branch.

Wannneer sien ons jou in National Geographic ?? ;) Hy is pragtig !!! I love the eyes !!! They hypnotize you.

This animal is my preferite

Hi Callie

What a truly beautifUl photo of this stunning leopard.
I really love all the great and this one is a magnificent example.
The intensity of his stare, with his ears forward, he is concentrating on something off camera.
There is always a story behind every photo of a big cat.
What was he staring at?
Great photo.
