[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When visiting Mpumalanga and the Kruger National Park a few weeks ago, my wife and I enjoyed the most beautifull landscapes and vistas of South Africa. The escarpment is where the highveld suddenly drops away to the lowveld about a 1000 meteres below. It is here where one finds numerous waterfalls, indigenous forests as well as thousands of hectares of planted forest. I thought I might share this natural beauty with folks on TN.

This first image is that of the Lone Creek Falls. Situated about 10 km from the little town of Sabie, the Sabie River plunges over a 68m cliff into a crystal clear pool below. Surrounded by indigenous rain forest, ferns and mosses it welcomes the hot and tired traveler.

Great stuff Ben, I love waterfalls, we don't have anything like this in the UK. It's a superb view. Very nice work.

Great shot, Ben. I think the POV is exceptional adding to the superb perspective of this shot. This is a fantastic landscape. very well done.

This is a beautiful waterfall and an amazing part of our country. Very well done on this photo. How did you manage to keep your lens dry? :)

Nice view you got here on the falls, also nice lighting conditions. The slowish SS works well on making the water "flow"
I suggest a silght drop on the right, to placethe falls more on a third, but that is purely my opinion. Well done.
