Nice colours and perfect composition.
I like it. Carme.

Bonjour Patrice,
This is a fantastic shot, I love the weaved basket nest and the position of this bird. The DOF brings the entirety of the subject front and center to the viewer. Super job. :)

Great composition colour and detail. Very well presented Patrice.

Regards Mark :)

Beautiful pic.Congrats.I can give you 2x10 for this pic.

Hi Patrice
It's a weaver, but do not ask me the species, there are so many!
Brilliant photo!

Hello Patrice
As far as I know this is an African Golden-Weaver (Ploceus subaureus).
Beautiful details and colors with the wonderful contrast of the red eye in the yellow and green surroundings.
Sharpness is excellent and the pose of the bird lovely.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Harry

Hello Patrice and welcome on TN!
This picture is just splendid! Great composition, beautiful colours, fantastic DOF and POV, and... the pose of the bird - simple... funny :) You are right, this one is a true acrobat! And a very beautiful one.
According to the ID of species I am not sure (I am not a specialist) but I think that it belongs to family Ploceidae.
Best greetings and TFS,

Bonjour Patrice,
Superbe image de ce tisserin et de son nid tout à fait admirable. Belle "composition" et de magnifiques couleurs. Intéressant de voir l'oeil rouge de ce petit oiseau. Bravo

Isn't this incredible, what a piece of art! A good composition, although probably a tad too central for my taste. The detail of the grass nest is great and I love the bg, it's just a shame the birds head is in the shade.
Thanks for posting.
