[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On our visit to the Kruger National Park we came upon this lonely elephant bull at a waterhole near Shingwedzi rest camp. We observed him for about 20 mins and in that time all he did was playing with the water, sucking it up his trunk and spraying it all over the place but not a single drop on him. A couple of times he placed his trunk in his mouth as if to drink but it looked like he just rinsed his mouth out. It was pure good elephant nature entertainment for us. Your comments are welcome.

Hello Beatrix,
Well composed shot. Water is fun apparently...

Hi Beatrix, very nice shot of this elephant at play. Your shot is crisp giving us good definition of the elephant and the water and the composition with this crop works very well. You have captured all the action here. Good depth of field. The elephant is isolated, yet we still have good visibility of his environment.

Thanks, John
