[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was busy in the vicinity of the earlier shot posted of the Leghoya Ruins, and the sun was moving behind the clouds. Stopped and waited for the "moment", and this is it.

Cropped to 800x600 format, USM [300,0.5,0], +10 contrast and then resized and framed

I agree with Felipe, I would have lost some of the black at the bottom. Besides this minor nit it's really an impressive sunset. The capture of the rays adds a dramatic effect, quite pleasurable. Great shot, Tim.

I wish I had taken this shot, it has real impact. I love the different shades of blue in the sky, the almost purposeful feel of the black thundercloud. The whole thing has a kind of apocalyptic feel to it, makes you think about deities and wrath and clean sweeps! It is very evocative. Thanks for posting it Tim.

Nice composition. Different shades of clouds and lighting through looks very symbolic. Surrealistic colors.
