|This rather strange flower is a perennial plant growing from Namaqualand down to the northern Cape wehre I found it. It was growing in the aloe forest and was one of the very few flowers in this arid place.|

What a beautiful and curious flower with so many prickles! I like a lot the image, so sharp and with such a fantastic composition. The black bg goes very well.
